Modernization Project Manager, Marine Division
ALMACO MARINE (Turku, Finland)
As Modernization Project Manager in our Marine Division you would be responsible for analyzing inquiries and helping customers express their needs. You will perform the onboard pre-contractual inspections and attend technical meetings with the Yard and Owners. In this role, you will provide support to the sales and estimation team as well as the engineering team in preparation of the quotation package. During the order to delivery process, you are responsible for ensuring that the assigned projects are delivered with the best possible result and in accordance with ALMACO’s Quality Management system as well as the Health and Safety Policy. You would be responsible for planning and scheduling the project, negotiating change orders with customers and subcontractors, and leading the project team from start-up meeting until the end of the guarantee period. Controlling and reporting the project financials is also an essential part of the Project Manager’s role and working with numbers should not be foreign to you.
In order to be successful in these tasks, you would be required to have:
- Skills in organizing, negotiating and delegating.
- Good command of project financials and management
- Management skills
- Good knowledge of products and turnkey scope of work
- Experience from the marine industry
- Good spoken and written English
