ALMACO sponsored sailors have a successful year 2011
ALMACO has sponsored two teams and two individuals during their 2011 season, and they have all had a great year.
Erika Reineke from Fort Laudedale, USA, won the 2011 Laser Radial Youth World Championship held July 24-31, in La Rochelle, France. Erika won the title second year in a row. Less than two weeks prior to the World Championships she won a silver medal at the ISAF Youth Worlds in Croatia.

Also sailing in very competitive waters: Brad Funk (Fort Lauderdale, FL) represented the United States in the Pre-Olympics in Weymouth UK in August. He sailed 15th and will be sailing in the 2012 Olympics qualifying race in Perth, Australia in December 2011.
Mac Agnese and Antoine Screve paired up to compete in the 29er skiff in the 2011 Volvo Youth Worlds in Zadar, Croatia. The young men, living on opposite coasts of the United States, worked hard to qualify and get ready: it all paid off and the finished 2nd in the prestigious race in July.
