ALMACO converts Majesty's cinema into 30 new cabins

The ALMACO Group has been contracted to demolish the cinema situated on decks 1 and 2 of RCI's 1992-built Majesty of the Seas, and install 30 new cabins: 15 passenger cabins on deck 2, and 15 crew cabins on deck 1. The company has done the same on the 1988-built Sovereign of the Seas and 1991-built Monarch of the Seas.

The installation work will start at the beginning of June, while Majesty of the Seas is cruising in the Caribbean. ALMACO will control noise and smoke levels as well as movement of materials and furniture so that passengers are not disturbed.

ALMACO's contract encompasses technical engineering, logistics, all HVAC and electrical works, turn-key interior outfitting and project management, as part of an ALMACO Modernisation Management package.
