ALMACO contracted to develop the Planned Maintenance Database for Royal Caribbean International's M/S Independence of the Seas

ALMACO will deliver the Planned Maintenance Database for Independence of the Seas’ Hotel operations. The project scope includes the staterooms, public spaces, crew areas, galleys, bars, pantries, food and laundry service equipment, as well as the facilities pool equipment. The Database will assist the owner in current and future maintenance tasks and efficient purchasing actions. The delivery will take place between January and May, 2008.

ALMACO’s Planned Maintenance Database contract includes project management and the use of ALMACO’s Life Cycle Systems. ALMACO plans, reports and executes the project from start to finish. ALMACO’s Life Cycle Systems department will use ALMACO’s database tools to collect data from different sources, input it into the database, organize it and finally deliver to the owner the complete information essential for the ship’s maintenance systems.
