ALMACO’s Food Handling Products featured on the Third and Fourth Oasis-Class Ships at STX France

ALMACO has been awarded contracts by STX France to provide its Food Handling solutions for Provision Stores and Refrigeration Machinery onboard Royal Caribbean International’s newbuilds.

ALMACO will deliver 2,600 square meters of Provision Stores and Refrigeration Machinery for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s third and fourth Oasis-class ships, which operate under the cruise company’s Royal Caribbean International brand and are currently under construction at STX France. ALMACO has already completed the engineering phase for the third Oasis-class ship, recently named Harmony of the Seas, and the delivery and installation of Provision Stores and Refrigeration Machinery has begun. Harmony of the Seas is scheduled to be delivered in Spring 2016 and the fourth ship in the class is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2018.

Joseph Kerebel, Vice President of Engineering of ALMACO’s Marine Division based in Nantes, France, states,
