Supervisor, Catering Systems Division

SUPERVISOR, CATERING SYSTEMS DIVISION
As Supervisor in our Catering Systems Division, you will hold the following responsibilities
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with ALMACO quality management manual, HSE rules, current codes, standards, and other relevant specifications and plans.
- Ensure that non conformances are being recorded and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure that only current drawings and documents are used
- Ensure that yard safety systems and procedures are followed by s/contractors and other ALMACO staff working onboard
- Ensure that works are carried out by contractors in accordance with contract specifications, client timely and interfaces requirements and requests.
- Ensure that ALMACO’s scope is delivered according to contract.
You will also have these followings specific responsibilities
- Ensure that the progress is updated weekly with General Supervisor / Contract Manager
- Communicate to s/contractors site activities and ensure timely response to program/schedule requirements
- Participate to on site coordination meetings with CM, yard, owner,
- Refer all requests for design changes to GS / CM and obtain the necessary approval prior to carry out modifications
- Ensure that materials delivered to site are properly identified, safely handled, and stored to prevent loss, damages and/or injury
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with standards
- Ensure that all processes are carried out by qualified workers and in accordance with approved procedures and plans.
- Keep GS / CM aware on issues related to health and safety
To be successful in this position, we will need to have
- Excellent knowledge of galleys and cold stores installation
- Good command of English
- Good understanding of marine rules and regulations
- Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, M2

As Project Engineer in our Accommodation Systems Division, you will hold the following responsibilities
- Lead and manage the assigned design & engineering team in new building and/or modernization projects.
- Project progress reporting to Project Manager.
- Manage and follow-up projects quality, budget and schedule.

As Galley Product Engineer in our Lifecycle Services Division, you will hold the key responsibility for design and engineering in catering maintenance projects (galley, pantry, bar, provision store).

- Estimate full turn-key project cost during pre-contractual phase (equipment, installation work, background work, etc.)
- Supervise production of design and deliver full engineering package for catering maintenance projects
- Produce layout and interface drawings
- Organize the design/engineering phase of a project

As a Technical Purchaser, in our Catering Systems division, you will have overall responsibility for procurement in our Tailor Made Equipment projects, managing vendors and product categories to ensure successful project execution. You will also play a key role in project estimation, vendor and product market knowledge development, sourcing actions, and quality control discussions with vendors. Additionally, you will lead the project purchasing process, place purchase orders, coordinate logistics, and manage project budgets and cost controls. Your pro-active attitude, team spirit, and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring project success.

DESIGNER, PROVISION STORES, ELECTRICAL, PIPING

DESIGNER, PROVISION STORES, ELECTRICAL, PIPING, CATERING SYSTEMS DIVISION | France
As Designer, Provision Stores, Electrical, Piping in our Catering Systems Division, you will hold the following responsibilities
- Autonomously create and keep up to date the technical drawings related to electrical, piping, or HVAC in conformance with the contract as well as the standard set
- Prepare GA views for supervision system and set the supervision paraments/tags within the Human Man Interface as well as participate in the Historian settings and Vantage developments to make GEN systems functional.
- Create and keep up to date all required documents according to ALMACO’s standards.
- Evaluate and inform the project engineer and contract manager about any modifications that could impact the cost.
- Check drawings coming from Shipyard or sub-contractors and propose relevant corrective actions
- File technical information related to the contract according to ALMACO’s process
- Ensure that Customer is getting complete, correct, and satisfactory technical support with fast reactivity.
- Support the project manager and purchase dept on the technical co-ordination with suppliers and installation teams
- Manage technical exchanges with production factories / suppliers to ensure correct understanding of expectations
- Follow drawing files exchange processes internally and with customers meeting their expectations
- Update drawing lists on M2, with detailed dates of delivery to yard, approval dates, revision
- Check and Send drawings, List of Equipment (with PE) and Material lists for production (foundations, shop drawings, lining, cable lists) according to schedule
- Support, check, and coordinate designers assigned to the same project so that all documents are according to Customer’s requests, contract and ALMACO’s standard.
- Be aware and concerned of other Departments’ needs and constraints
Additionally, in this position, your responsibilities will also include the following
- Participate to continuous Quality improvement by suggesting design evolutions. (Processes, templates)
- Be part of process improvements by making proposals on Asso or other design tools to improve efficiency and quality of design tasks
- Develop (and/or check) and keep up-to-date drawing libraries project standards and construction details for tailor-made items and components (library guard)
- Contribute to develop efficient tools and to the improvement of working methods
- Maintain efficient and courteous relationship with other Departments and be concerned by taking their needs and constraints
